Deluca started in WA as a small forward. I can recall seeing him play in the WAFL (Back in the days of the ABC having access to the State Leagues). He isn't slow, but he isn't express. His kicking was very good (hopefully Freo didn't wreck that) and he could make a goal out of not much. Then again, that was some years ago now.
