So very high probability of being cut.  That would be another miss by SoS. His record on this front is very poor.

I'm not sure sos has much to work with here though.  Of late we have only been attracting players who cannot play senior footy because they're down the pecking order for various reasons.  McGovern was the first we've landed who is a genuine chance to play in any side in the competition for a long while.  The reasons for that are wide and varied.  The major one is probably to do with what we have been doing the last few seasons and shuffling players out for draft picks and playing the longer game.  That means everyone is looking at us and not seeing us as a destination club because they are all wanting to win a flag.  That leaves us with blokes who are just trying to forge a career and lacking opportunities or blokes trying to resurrect their careers and needing opportunities.

Hence why its important we gove them every chance once we get them.  It will build a reputation that we are not the last chance saloon.
