We recently got netflix and value for money $h!ts all over foxtel. Only reason we still have foxtel is for the sport. This kinda solves this problem.
However, it is a bit laggy with streaming live sport. Not sure how much of that is my internet connection (still not on NBN) and how much is the app/site.
I sometimes get a bit of a lag on my tablet but rarely on Telstra tv, although there have been a couple of gluggy periods recently but I have noticed a fair bit of maintenance of cables going on in the area by Telstra contractors.
Btw, I think Fox is part owner of Kayo and I wouldn't mind betting that this is the first step in shifting sport away from Foxtel altogether to this new dedicated service. Hopefully we won't see price increases once we're all hooked.
