He did go back and play with south Fremantle but that's besides the point as AFL clubs don't have as much wiggle room as the next tier down. Less scrutiny and more time to go through life and focus on what's important.
I recall reading some stuff re Garlett that (aside from his brother's health concerns) he was not happy at GC.
