She has huge potential and no small amount of athleticism, but at the moment her taps are disadvantaging us, because we are neither reading them, nor positioning our players to allow us to get the ball.

I think you've mentioned before, and i agree, that Moody is extremely predictable. That is, to everyone except our own girls!

She did the right thing towards the end of the match today, punched it forward as far as she could at every ruck contest. Yet, our girls held front position at the stoppages, which meant they had to turn around and chase down the ball behind them, with their opponent starting at least 1 step ahead of them. We are not quick enough to allow them this advantage and they cleared the ball away almost every time this happened.

How about we just drop a girl back, or better yet, have someone running full steam alongside Moody in the ruck and continuing on to the loose ball punched in front of them?

Tactically, we seemed to be on different pages in that regard.

Speaking of tactically...
Why has nobody put Vescio for a run on the ball? Is her fitness simply not up to it??

You can often see Harris in the backline, but i don't think i've ever seen Vescio defensive side of the centreline....ever.

Throw her in the middle, or on a wing and let her provide a spark when we need it. What have we got to lose?!
