It seems reasonable, but not to the psychopaths in charge, a cold is not a good enough excuse and they made it known.
Now it turns out that a 3rd party, who was blamed for initially bringing the cold virus into the school, has been diagnosed with full blown influenza and is in hospital. A school for feck sake, how many could be affected?
A person who sat on the train or bus next to someone, shared a table or seat at a cafe, tuck shop or school cafeteria, or preceded them into a cab or Uber? This person who was too intimidated to stay home when they were ill, because they felt insecure in their job, now they are in hospital having exposed an untold number of individuals including children to Influenza!
And forking hospitals should know better, she is obviously working for Typhoid Mary who never misses a day of work!
Its how they staff the wards....daughter is a RN(Div 1), they usually run one Div 1 who is in charge and the others are enrolled nurses(Div 2)....The Div 1 has all the responsibility including the meds as well as supervising the Div2's of which a lot are rookies with no experience. Add a nurse to patient ratio of 1-8 or 1-10 and its chaos most of the time...
If its really busy you might get another RN1 but hospitals hate paying for the extra specialist staff especially ED,ICU, and Cardiac nurses...so even with one nurse sick the whole show falls over and the care level goes down. The Typhoid Mary's(ward head admins) work day shifts and hide in the office...all they do is read all the handover notes and try and save money on staff....
