He would only need to beat Berdych to make the final against either Cilic or Querrey. On the other hand, Berdych has his best chance of taking out his first grand slam title after being a top 10 player for most of his career. Federer has beaten Berdych 18 times and lost only 6. Unfortunately for Berdych, Federer has won their last 7 matches and the last time Berdych beat him was 4 and a half years ago.
Berdych is a shadow of his former self. The Djoker at 30% output was hard going for him.
In the other semi the lads will beat the carp out of each other, meaning likely back to back 5 setters for each of them, or close to....
Can't really see the Dodger dropping a set from, hereon in.
