2017 Round 5: In game angst: Carlton vs Port Adelaide

Questions need to be asked.
The kids would be much better playing as a group and developing an understanding together in the VFL.
A couple of games at a time in the seniors.

There is no benefit in this.
None at all.

2 FARKING GOALS
WTF

One was from the goal square.

The other one was about the worst kick at goal, that scores a goal, that you'll see all year!

A legacy of playing all the kids.

That I fear sums it up unfortunately.
Reality always wins in the end.

Da Di Da Di Dar..Da Di Da Di Dar..Da Di Da Di Da Di Darrr ...Darrr Darr.. We are the NAVY BLUES !!
Firstly, this is our second game after a 6 day break.

We are too young, to weak physically and mentally to cope with this.

Secondly, since the opening bounce, we have been intimidated, tentative, and generally weak in every aspect of the game.

We still can't stick a tackle. We still can't hit a target with a 30 metre field kick to a bloke who is not under pressure to receive.
We are as slow as a snail with our decision making.

Now for my pet peeve. Jack Silvagni. I am sick and tired of watching him not take responsibility when he has a chance to goal. He did last week, he did it last year, and tonight in the first quarter, he was about 15 out after receiving the ball, could have thrown it on the boot and taken the shot,  but instead went for a hospital hand pass to another player in a worse off situation than him resulting in a turnover. I'm all for unselfish play, but there is a time and place, and he is totally unaware of either.  If he doesn't get rid of this idiocy that he's obviously had since his junior days, and keeps making stupid decisions like he is, he will never reach the hights as a player that he MAY, and I say May, have the capacity to reach.
In 1901 CFC scored 1:1 to cwood 94.

So this mightn't be our worst ever. Then again :-[

Cmon Blues. Get something out of this qtr.

Omg Levi is hot fave for our goal of the week
Coming together is the beginning.
Keeping together is progress.
Working together is success.
Henry Ford.
Never seen a Carlton game where one player has kicked all our goals by early in the 4qtr
"Did not get a single possession inside our forward 50 for the entire 3rd quarter."

Wow.
Fev kicked all 4 against the Saints mid-2000s.
