Back 6 did not miss a beat today under trying conditions. Fantasia got a bath, Hooker and the 204cm dud with a famous surname couldnt get near it. Rowe, Doc, Marchy, Macca, Simmo and Plow were fantastic today. Williamson did some run with stuff with Parish and even Heppel, showed the other more experienced mids what defensive pressure means.
Ed was ok on Merrett/Heppell eventually.
Kruze just worked his ass off and was mauled on and off the ball without any reward from the Umps.
The Skipper played some sort of a game.
SPS and Pickett were very composed in the weather.
Same old culprits nearly cost us the game, conditions were not conducive to goal kicking but we were pretty bad.
Our young fellas with the skipper really lead the way today.
2017-16th
2018-Wooden Spoon
2019-16th
2020-dare to dream? 11th is better than last I suppose
2021-Pi$$ or get off the pot
2022- Real Deal or more of the same? 0.6%
2023- "Raise the Standard" - M. Voss Another year wasted Bar Set
2024-Back to the drawing boardNo excuses, its time

I'm glad you think 2012 was a good year.

Let's see what our return bout in R20 brings.

All the young guys got stuck in today, plenty to like and look forward to with that win.

Pickett made a couple of costly errors though,  dropped mark (possibly due to footsteps) and missed the pick up which would have resulted in a goal/ shot on goals.

Well done blues.

Andrew McGrath will be a fantastic player.

But if last year's draft were held today and I had to choose between McGrath and SPS, I know who I'd be picking...
