2016 - Awesome, Good, Bad, Ugly, Disaster
#11
Opps, maybe I misunderstood, take 2.....

Awesome - Charlie Curnow pips Weitering for the NAB rising star.
Good - Daisy plays 20+ games and finishes top 5 in the B&F
Bad - only 3 or less new players play 5 or more games.
Ugly - Kreuzer and Daisy play less than 5 games each
Disaster - Finish last and Bolton sacked - Won't happen though.

Navy, it's not just a color, it's an attitude !!!

Disaster- no wins, wooden spoon, board instability and a huge financial loss with the club seeking assistance from the AFL. First murmerings of club collapse. Bolton arrested in Fiji following an Interpol issued warrant and Cripps decides to retire and then joins ISIS. Dodgy property developers begin to lobby to turn Princes Park into apartments following a radical rezoning by the council. And John Elliot returns to relaunch the club as 'New Carlton'.

Ugly-bottom 2 with only 4 wins for the year. Injuries to senior players and Bolton is rumoured to want out. None of our 2014 draft group show promise. Trigg departs following forensic audit of club shows 'irregularities'

Bad- bottom 3, with only 5 wins. Injuries to Murphy, Cripps and Kruezer gut the midfield. Tom Bell wins B&F for Brisbane averaging 94 % disposal efficiency.

Good -6-8 wins, with new draft picks only playing 3 games each while showing good progress with NBs. We average 103 points per game.

Awesome- Cripps wins Brownlow with record highest votes. Casboult kicks 67 goals for season. Murphy, Thomas and Gibbs are known as the holy trinity in the press due to their midfield brilliance and Jacksch holds down CHB. Lachie Henderson comes off a very second best after a legal hip and shoulder from Dylan Buckley.  Oh and we win the premiership.

I've been drinking. Its true.

Actually, the AFL should introduce a signing fee which gets paid to clubs who have contracted players poached.

I like it!
Ignorance is bliss.

Awesome - we finish last with respectable performances in 12-16 games, with Cripps, Curnow, Weitering performing well for their age and McKay finishing the year off with 15 goals in the last 6 games. Murphy and Gibbs have solid seasons and get traded for top ten draft picks.
We have picks 1, 4 &7 and get three AA mids to go with three from this draft.

Good - there is no good

Bad - we finish 12th

Terrible - we finish 9th and get ahead of ourselves

Not a bad idea IOT.  How about a points penalty that moves the poachers' picks down the order and moves up the picks of clubs who have contracted players poached?

Awesome - If we actually have a game plan and all the players play to the benefit of the club. Not playing for themselves only. Being competitive against all clubs and showing a will not quit attitude. Looking like we have structures that work in defence and up forward.

Good - If we actually appear to be a better side than last year. Winning a few more games and not being smashed by the top 8 sides.

Bad - If we appear to be the side we were last season. Falling back into bad habbits, and not showing to have our forward 50m or back 50m structured properly.

Disaster - If we finish last with another wooden spoon. All of the new recruits showing little potential and all the players we have picked up in the previous 2 seasons to appear to need to be delisted. Many injuries to the most of the playing group, to expose our huge lack in depth. Hence more players wanting to be traded at the end of the season.
This digital world is too much for us insects to understand.

@ Mants

Like Mants, very realistic approach.
Reality always wins in the end.

Disaster - Player exodus continues. Any of Cripps, Murphy, Gibbs, Kreuzer say they want out.

Ugly - injuries, injuries, injuries. Get the same result as this year.

Bad - No major signs of improvement from the kids

Good - Players start playing for the jumper again.

Awesome - Kreuzer and Daisy stay fit. Adelaide boys cement a spot in the 22. GWS boys (last year and this year) all get plenty of games and look good. Results will follow from that.

Awesome - make the finals. Which would mean that the newbies performed, the new coaches are having strong impact and the culture has changed.

Good - 8 or more wins. No embarrassing capitulations. Bona fide indications of a strong and dangerous group developing.

Bad - injuries to important players. Finish in the bottom 6.

And as for 'disaster' there won't be unless ISIS destroys Melbourne, or Pig's Arse is listened to or taken seriously.
Only our ruthless best, from Board to bootstudders will get us no. 17
