I reckon we gave up too much compared to the other clubs.

But since we chose to not give Mua a contract at all, perhaps using her value was a bonus.

That seems expensive.

But it's a potential type deal.

Celine was thought of by many to be the better prospect when the sisters were younger but sport wasn't her priority. Injuries and career interruptions have curtailed her progress, but maybe time is right and the reunion with her sister will be the trigger for bigger and better.

Might also be a bit about preserving Brea's career, I'm not sure what Celine's physical status is but that might not matter.

We've lost a whole heap of talls, or players that play tall.

All out...
McWilliams
Milford
Trudgeon
and Laloifi who often played CHB for us.

Its good to get a genuine tall in. It also gives us plenty of versatility with what we have.

Now with Good and Moody (x2) we have 1 for each area, forward, back and ruck (midfield) and they can switch about as required.

When we took Good many thought it was a bit of a low probability experiment, but I think we've hit the jackpot on that one as Good with relatively little exposure has turned out to be above average having some significant moments / quarters. Another pre-season and she it likely to string together whole games.

Thanks to Kez for that one.

Old basketball mates.
Key was trying to get her down for years. Finally accepted and we are reaping the benefits

Another trade where the prices are not high. Seems to be a trend in the AFLW: borderline players leave for greener pastures, often before they've had a chance to develop. Probably one of the reasons for it is the lack of long term deals that a club can make. Only recently have there been ANY long term deals possible, which does nothing for player retention.

Gold Coast Suns receive: Two second-round picks (currently No.35 and No.38)

North Melbourne receives: A second-round pick (currently No.27)
