We play Saturday at 14:05 in Werribee.
Team sheet not yet available, but Mirkov won't be there; he's having heart surgery!
Interesting to see if we play 2 rucks: hopefully one won't be Jack!

OFFICIAL: Carlton Reserves has named its team for tomorrow's clash with Werribee!
B: D. Akuei, L. Young, J. Silvagni
HB: L. Cowan, Z. Fisher, L. Plowman
C: J. Binns, G. Hewett, L. O'Brien
HF: J. Honey, J. Carroll, J. Motlop
F: L. McMahon, B. Crocker, H. Lemmey
R: H. O'Keeffe, P. Dow, E. Curnow
INT: H. Sinnott, H. Ramshaw, P. Dozzi, L. Parks, N. Cahill
From that list at least the sub for the firsts will come out and perhaps an injury cover emergency, or they may play that emergency at least part of the 2s game given the firsts are the next day - if it were Ed he could play 2 full games i reckon, he hasnt lost much of his endurance!

We'll have 16 AFL listed players. Is that a record? I guess it speaks to relative health and playing in Melbourne.

Look like some players are being trialled in new positions. Good move.

Thanks for the list, blueianh, much appreciated.

[1] One of Binns, Young and Curnow will be the 'travelling emergency', so they won't play. That may require another warm body. Interesting to see who that may be. Another ruck? O'Keefe is the only named ruck, although Akuei can pinchhit there. Lemmey too, come to think of it. Lemmey moved around quite nicely when he was rucking.
[2] As Dow isn't mentioned, he's almost certainly the sub. Maybe a little lucky: he had 7 possessions in a quarter and a half. Then again, maybe he can take the bull by the horns.
[3] Cowan can't be far away; he was pretty good last week. Plowman as well.
[4] Carroll is named. Hope he is right to go. He needs to start producing if he's going to make it (and I have serious doubts over that at this time).
[5] Be very interested to see if Jack plays in defence. Could be an interesting experiment.
