Many years ago there was a comment, i think by Brettie, that summed up a game perfectly.

It was against the dogs and it involved Brian Lake. I'll paraphrase to sum up todays effort.

I didn’t think contacting the ball was enough…?
I thought the intention was to stop front on contact to protect the player attempting to mark and stop “clumsy” front on spoiling attempts
