A new team, but an old foe.
How will we go trying to contain Erin Phillips?
A win sees us in the 8.
Won't be easy, but certainly doable.

Shout out to Harf, I think he is managing the AFLW team and the development of players given the high turnover very well, probably as best as we can reasonably expect.

Geez, as a club, be it AFL or AFLW, we fumble so so much.
None of our teams can be described as clean!
It costs us so so much, we are regularly first to the footy, only to fork it up, we create our own pressure!

Pound out for university committments is a sign of the times.
Milford looks the goods. Nice tall leading, marking target who can kick a long ball is just what we need.
Scores level with 6minutes to go in the half

How big is that breeze?! Not sure Kruddler, but the highlights package would be damning, first to the footy, basic dropped marks free of physical contact, poor ball use, poor decision making, Fwiw, I don't think it's about the newbies, some may make that excuse, this has been a long term problem at our club.
I fear it's our play safe attitude / culture, it's not delivering enough resilience, we lack some bastard, we lack some physical hardness, when things get uncomfortable we seem to have collected players who have the first instinct to retreat.

I saw Sherar drop a sitter and take a backward step.
Goss fumbled a couple of times.
Vickers dropped one too
Lee also fumbled
Milford looks good, but sill dropped one.
Between them, there wouldn't be 10 games experience.
Alternatively, we've got Pound on the sidelines with about 50 games experience.
We've seemingly lost Guerin to a knee.
Trudgeon has a dodgy shoulder.
We can't afford to carry this many players.

A good contest. An arm wrestle.
Probably a fitting result.
