Maher and Handley out of the team is a big loss. Hope their injuries is not serious if we progress because we will need them.

Yes, young Cripps played his best game of the season last week but there’s no way that he could keep Mirkov out of the team.

I reckon that we’ve cobbled together a half decent team and it’s to our advantage that Brisbane are still alive in the firsts.  Quietly confident ?

As for young Josh, last week’s effort may see him played more as a ruck/forward than as key forward.  That may be his best chance of playing footy at the highest level.

Luckily for us it sounds like the Lions will put some of their rucks in cotton wool, their VFL side is normally over-loaded with blokes over 205cm x 110kg.
