AFL Rd 21 2022 In Game Angst Carlton vs Brisbane at the Gabba

We gave them a fright and thats all you can ask imo - if we play elimination final in Brissy need Hewett and Kennedy back into that team. Our form improved dramatically after qtr time thats an important green shoot.

If we play an Elimination Final it'll be from 8th and I reckon Collingwood in consecutive weeks.

Lions were on after losing last week, they hit us hard early and made it clear who was boss and we folded up, a few junk goals in the last quarter made it look better than it was but were just smashed all day and offered little back.
Agree Pittonet would have helped as TDK looks cooked and needs a rest..........he will be back next week vs the Dees where it wont get an easier. Think we all know it would come down to the Collingwood game more than likely, problem is we are limping into the finals and will probably get pummelled in the 1st week given how things are going.
Lets hope we dont lose Cripps to the tribunal either as its never great when the player goes off and doesnt come back.....

- Kennedy will miss more than 3 weeks
- That was our elimination final at the Gabba, we won't make the 8.

Reckon we hang on and fall into 8th but we are struggling to keep going at the end of a long season.

Still, it is progress from recent times. Takes a while to become a true contender and you get some crap while on the way up.

Reckon he will get off at tribunal. He had his eyes on the ball and turned his body mid air while attempting to spoil the ball when in dispute - football collision - Cripps is one of the cleanest players in the game and his record should go a long way. It was a timing issue and it was just a fraction off.
