Jim Park Voting AFL Rd 10 Carlton vs Sydney
#1
Voting is as usual: you have 15 votes to award pretty much as you will, with the following provisos:
[1] 15 votes in total, no more, no less.
[2] No more than 10 votes for any one player (even Sam Walsh or Patrick Cripps)
[3] Three players at least must get a mention.
[4] A grade for the game, A+ (what I want to see) to F-.

Hopefully we'll have guys to vote for.

We took on a top team and beat them thoroughly. Good enough for an A, if just.

Votes:
[2] George Hewett
[2] Sam Walsh
[2] Charlie Curnow
[1.5] Jacob Weitering
[1.5] Sam Docherty
[1] Nick Newman
[1] Corey Durdin
[1] Matthew Kennedy
[1] Adam Saad
[1] Patrick Cripps
[0.5] Zac Fisher
[0.5] Matthw Cottrell

Explanations:
[2] George Hewett: Brilliant game. 32 possessions, 7 tackles and 9 clearances. Says it all.
[2] Sam Walsh: Brilliant also. Swooped on the ball at will.
[2] Charlie Curnow: Not at his best and still kicked 6 goals.
[1.5] Jacob Weitering: Totally dominated Buddy Franklin
[1.5] Sam Docherty: Not even trying to knock him out stopped him from dominating across half back.
[1] Nick Newman: Showed his old team that made a serious error discarding him.
[1] Corey Durdin: Excellent night again for Corey. Made a lot of things happen.
[1] Matthew Kennedy: Brilliant early, but quieter in the last half.
[1] Adam Saad: Continues to impress in defence.
[1] Patrick Cripps: Aver different role and not as many possessions, but still got thew clearances when it counted.
[0.5] Zac Fisher: Deserves a mention. Popped up at the right time and hurt with his disposal.
[0.5] Matthew Cottrell: An excellent job across the wing

Honourable Mentions:
Tom de Koning: Probably vote-worthy, his last quarter marking was excellent. His goal was magnificent. His 5 taps to advantage in the second quarter set up the game.
Jesse Motlop: Showed glimpses of what he might be able to produce.
Liam Stocker: Strong game in defence.
