So having a beer to celebrate a Grand Slam victory is encouraging irresponsible behaviour? Its not like she went 3 sheets to the wind and went on national tv making a fool of herself like Brendan Fevola.

None of us should be shocked at the actions of fanatics, regardless of which side of the fence they sit, where an opportunity exists and opportunist exists.
We should probably be more shocked by people who are shocked that opportunistic stuff like this keeps happening! Personally, the biggest offense on the night was the initial inference that Barty was expected to drink alone!

It's sad to think that we won't see Ash on the court but good luck to her and well done on a very classy tennis career.
