Looper as well.

Not sure if you've seen it, but Predestination (i think thats on Netflix) is worth a watch.

Again, not sure whats on what right now but have a look at anything Brit Marling has done. Start with 'The Sound of my Voice', East.....tv series the OA. etc.

Thank you, K.

Loved Predestination. Great concept and really, really well acted. Will start checking out the others on the w/e.

Donald Sutherland gave the best performance by any supporting actor in any film I've ever seen.

Loved Donald S in JFK... his 2nd best performance, come on CC... He made the role of Sgt Oddball in Kelly's Heroes an icon!

I like 2.
Draft Day is definitely one of them.
Tin Cup is the other one.

Never seen the Postman......and don't really want too. Not my cup of tea.

Tin Cup is fantastic

I think it's a very personal thing, what appeals to each of us....and while we're all different, in this thread we'll find others with similar tastes.
I'm not real fussed about modern/crime/drug movies.
Although the Godfather (well 1 & 2) are amongst my favourites.

My favourite movie of all time is probably John Wayne's 'The Searchers'.
...and I guess that's why the Costner movies have an appeal.
It' s that expansive, storytelling I enjoy.
