All ready for tomorrow night.
May the result turn out right!

Damn, that was too close to comfort. Too many missed chances not taken.

I'll take a win on the road like that any day. Another W to build some confidence.
Reality always wins in the end.

With Silvagni hurt, Matthew Kennedy is a certainty. he did well when he came on.
Jack's tackle was nothing short of brilliant, as was H's shot at goal. But so many other shots ...

Great tough win. It was ugly and those games we normally lose. Hope it augers well for the future. Loving the improvement in Cottrell  I suspect he was tagging a bit tonight to take him to the ball.

A win is a win is a win, but we've got a lot of work to do.
One things I really note, is that we don't handle the ball well up there, it is too slippery and a number of our players struggle in that. But to win on the road against a team with talent is always a positive.

Defence was solid. SPS was clean and used it well while most mids butchered it. Liked doc Jones and weiters game as well and plowman was solid.
The midfield was awful apart from Ed and Walsh who battled hard.
Time for setterfield and Dow to play 2s footy. Neither are AFL standard and we are not good enough to carry blokes thru the middle who don’t contribute and aren’t desperate enough. Prefer Cottrell at least he has a go.
Hopefully Williams comes back in and I would like to see Kennedy or stocker for a run of games.
Eddie is smart and we needed that tonight. Hard night to be a forward when the ball is butchered coming in.

Excruciating to watch, like pulling teeth. A wins a win.
2017-16th
2018-Wooden Spoon
2019-16th
2020-dare to dream? 11th is better than last I suppose
2021-Pi$$ or get off the pot
2022- Real Deal or more of the same? 0.6%
2023- "Raise the Standard" - M. Voss Another year wasted Bar Set
2024-Back to the drawing boardNo excuses, its time

An ugly win is always much better than an honourable loss. For example, we played much better round 1 against Richmond but I'll take this this win all day ahead of that.

And we're now 6th!!!
