In Game Assignations: AFL Rd 11 : Carlton vs. West Coast Eagles
#21
Kennedy starting to look like he has arrived. De Koning not in awe of Nic Nak unlike the commentators who drool over everything he does.
Would be Teagues best win if we can get the points here

I would have thought that when you have a ruckman as dominant as Nic Nat was in the first quarter against Pittonet, the instructions from the coach would be, rove to him,the very least man up against his midfielders, and forget about our bloke. Of course, to me that's common sense, but not to the coaches.

Dekonig is a beauty. We have really missed him, and hes holding his own in the ruck, and good to have Fish back.

cripps has a major fault. cannot kick straight for goal and as great as he is, that weakness, diminishes that greatness.

Finally, Weitering. How about the wonderful job hes done so far on Kennedy.
Which takes me back to the Port adelaide game when Teague wouldn't move him on to Charlie dixon and that cost us the game. Jones has been excellent, but he's a more dashing type than Weiters and great on the second best forward. Weiters should always be on the best forwards.

Let's hope we can kill this mob.
Go Blues.

Like to know who Cottrell is covering because I think he’s doing a fair job. Gaff??

Being 2 players down before half time in these conditions really puts us up against it. I hope they can do it but I'm not confident.
