Next step in our development............when we play crap sides play to OUR standard, not theirs!!!

Classic "take the 4pts and move on" performance.

Thats it.

It was closer than it should've been, but at the end of the day, we won.....and were in the lead for the entire match.

We lost Harry before the game, mitch during and had Moore in their place. Couldn't get the ball to what key forwards we had left.
Cripps is shadow of himself.

Yet.....we won!

On to next week.

As someone else said, got out of jail. I was worried about this game, not many positives other than the 4 points. Move on.

2022- Real Deal or more of the same? 0.6%
2023- "Raise the Standard" - M. Voss Another year wasted Bar Set
2024-Back to the drawing boardNo excuses, its time

We led from siren to siren.

Not exactly getting out of jail. A few people need to have a bit more faith in Carlton of 2020. I know we've all been beaten into submission over the previous 2 decades....but the tide is turning.

I prefer a shit win like that to an honorable loss. It's much better for belief.

Most of the time we play garbage we get embarrassed miserably. At least this time we actually won.

That 10-9 under Teague now.

As a targeted player, Cripps has 1 free to him and 5 against.  ?

Luckily our last Q was as good as the first and we escape. Played 2 short with McGovern finished and Moore 'Darcy Langed'. They should both miss next week. Time for many beers and a lie down.

North have been our Achilles heel for some time. No longer.

A great start, then doing just enough for the rest. Skills declined well before the rain. Credited to North for maintaining the pressure.

But fair dinkum the umps effort to push them over the line in q4 was astounding. Jack's miss didn't help either, that buffer would have allowed us to enjoy the last q a little more.

I think our fwd structure suffered immensely with the loss of H, then McGovern.

A win nonetheless. I'll take that any day.

Congratulations to Doc ??. Glad he's celebrating with a W
