Too many players missing, it’s like as soon as North got physical we yet again seem to capitulate. 

The free against Walsh was a load of shit, and Setters HTB was rubbish - commentators said Borth were rewarded for a good tackle - but we did the same their end and nothing.

Newnes and Willos dinky kicks that resulted in a north goal, not good enough.

Another qtr like that we will lose. We are not locking it in the fwd line. Cripps is playing angry and being beaten, just win the footy and dish it off quick. Martin is playing the dumbest game for the club so far. Gov as I said is an embarrassment. Moore is out of his depth. SPS is the laziest footballer I have ever seen. Is Betts out there?
Pitto is doing ok v Goldy.
Losing against a VFL side at best will hurt.

We have given them a sniff after a reasonable start. This is all a team like Norf needs. Playing like cr@p. Just cr@p. Moore selection has been a disaster. Get him off, play anyone else and rotate Levi into the ruck with Pitt. Backline is super sloppy. Forward line is falling over itself and fumbling likes it pouring with rain. A lot of quiet players. I'm hoping that they improve. Not sure if Teague ever uses the spray but today might be a good time.

Mcgovern started well with a goal assist to Gibbons but needs good delivery and system. Nth have turned the game into a messy scrap
and we have lost method so the Gov is going to have to scrap harder and get a bit of spice in his game. Not a day to be playing fancy footy.. Contest well and be direct ie Newnes

He is responsible for the first goal.
He would've had the last if not for Martin taking it away.
He had a free against him just before that that gets played once in 100 tackles.

Watch him without the ball.
He blocks, he shephards he makes space for teammates.
He is not having a great game sure, but he is not doing a fev and giving up, he is still doing the little things to try and work himself into the game.

Kruddler would u say  McGovern has been worth the investment ?  both money wise and what we gave up to get him?

You might remember that i was always in Daisy Thomas corner since his recruitment.
That took years to pay off, but it did. Now you get people pining for Daisy.

Gov will be similar. Long term he will be a great pickup, it looks dodgy now, but its just a matter of time.

3 weeks ago i had to defend Harry because people were wanting to trade him out. I showed he was ahead of JK at the same stage of their career. Since then he has dominated and made a few people look silly.

Gov will do that, might not be today, or potentially this year, but don't right him off.
