The Awful Truth - 2015 Edition
#11
Weitering is rock hard at the contest, he kicks the ball 70m, is mobile and clunks marks in extraordinary circumstances. Pretty much everything we lack in one package, we will probably ruin him as fast as is humanly possible.

I reckon we're good thing to get Weitering. Brisbane will go the father/son with Schnache. If we finish bottom we can really put the heat on Hendo. If he wants to go Geelong pay big or we re-draft him through the PSD (it work that way still or can he make himself a delisted FA?). Think he's implicated he was keen on staying if Barker was coach

Do we want him to stay? What if he played the same next year on good coin?

its a good thing getting these players whilst we bottom out. The challenge now
will be keeping them to benefit us in the future.
It aint the 80's or the 90's where players didnt want to leave

I myself am not entirely sure about Henderson to be honest. Maybe we could trade him for Motlop. He isn't locked in to the Cats from what I heard. Trade this deal along with Yarran for a decent pick or a forward that can play and take marks. Its sounds stupid in some way, but might be an option we could look at. Yarran for a young player like Bruce from the Saints or WC for Kennedy. Just putting it out there.
This digital world is too much for us insects to understand.

That is one of the things I really want to change. We can't give the players extra money, but we do need to provide 'extras' for them to make us a preferred venue. I'd like to have them get more involved in as many things as possible. That way they have a financial and emotional stake in things and won't want to move on simply for a few extra dollars.
