(Betts, McKay and the new French ruckman), so who will go out? Kruezer, possibly Fisher....Dow?  Does Stocker get a look in? There is a strong word that young Philps might get a look in.
So many questions and 2 days to wait.

Actually he identifies as Italian, from the northern part of Italy.

Setterfield was the bigger body SOS got to help Cripps and is still a project but appears more comfortable doing a curtailing job or playing on a wing. Apart from having a mature body you have to have someone who can get the ball 30 times and have that bit of class to hurt the opposition, you just cant stick 3 meatheads in the middle with Cripps and expect results vs the quality opposition midfields.

Agree re Couch but losing faith fast in the thinking the likes Of Setterfield, Kennedy, Dow types will come on and provide the support Cripps needs. They are still young and expecting them to just come on is wishful thinking at best.

We invested heavily in kids thru the middle  and apart from Walsh who is a freak the rest seem still a while away from giving us the instant boost we desperately need to compete with the majority of teams. And this issue is now compounded with Kreuzer out.

If somehow we managed to do with loins did and secure a Neale type reckon we would be a totally different proposition they we are.

It’s frustrating as the attack and defence seem to be areas we can compete and will get better yet the midfield is still way too shallow imo.

Bennell is a good footballer and if he gets himself straight he'll damage any opposition, like Garlett or Yarran I think it's clear Bennell's problems are not ability.

Happy for a rusty player to have his first run against us.

If we don't go to town on him and make life really difficult for him, I'll be disgusted.

That's my fear, its another one of those hoodoos we need to arrest in order to take genuine steps forward and be taken seriously.

Surely we beat Melbourne

I expect 4 goal win stars minimum and it will probably be closer to 10 goals, don’t rate the dees at all.

Agree...he will be pumped and so will his team-mates to help him out, though he might get injured again too..
