Team: C
Everything considered, I think we did about as well as we could. Losing our ruckmen, especially when Kreuzer was on top, meant that we were at a real disadvantage.
However, we still lost, so I can’t give any better.
Votes:
[3] Patrick Cripps
[2] Charlie Curnow
[1.5] Dale Thomas
[1.5] Liam Jones
[1.5] Kade Simpson
[1] Paddy Dow
[1] Matthew Kennedy
[1] Jacob Weitering
[0.5] Sam Rowe
[0.5] Matthew Kreuzer
[0.5] Sam Petrevski-Seton
[0.5] Ed Curnow
[0.5] Jed Lamb
Explanations:
[3] Patrick Cripps: 30+ possessions, marks, tackles, clearances and goals. Crippa was brilliant and comfortably best on ground.
[2] Charlie Curnow: Charlie had 3 different opponents and beat them all. He was the only forward to make his mark on the game and he really made his mark.
[1.5] Dale Thomas: Daisy played very well in defence. He ran well and provided great dealership.
[1.5] Liam Jones: Another excellent game from Jones with 14 marks!
[1.5] Kade Simpson: Another typical Simmo game.
[1] Paddy Dow: Possibly Paddy’s best game, he really showed some good signs.
[1] Matthew Kennedy: Definitely his best game in our colours. Not so much in the centre clearances, but around the ground.
[1] Jacob Weitering: Beat Cox handily on the day.
[0.5] Sam Rowe: A great effort keeping the Collingwood ruckmen from dominating.
[0.5] Matthew Kreuzer: Had the better of Grundy until he was injured.
[0.5] Sam Petrevski-Seton: Great first half, but dropped out of the game totally.
[0.5] Ed Curnow: Not one of Ed’s best, but he still gave his all.
[0.5] Jed Lamb: One of his games in defence. Good run and carry.
Honourable Mentions:
Zac Fisher: First half was almost non-existent, but his 2nd half was pretty good.
Matthew Wright: Some great highlights, but not enough in between.
