Think Lang is around 82kg and with injury history, probably not the game to debut in , looked rusty first up from a spell and needs a few more games IMO.
Kennedy has to stand up this game and conditions should suit Nick Graham with a bit of sting out of the track.....bit of volatility in the weather might make this more of a game of attrition
and I give us a real chance of winning providing we pick the right team and dont end up top heavy with wrong matchups.....

Why doesn't the MC listen to you EB? You always come up with many good ideas.

If Kennedy's ankle/leg is not 100%, he shouldn't play either....he hasn't looked fully fit since Q1 of the Tigers' game.

Will we ever learn!  :-[
Finals, then 4 in a row!

Not worried about the opposition. You play like that unless you're going well.

Interesting thing at Frankston, the coaches box and Dolphins change rooms are on the outer wing. The coaches walk from the box to the change rooms through the crowd. They had a very public debate as they walked across the terraces past the outer wing can bar, basically stated that the game was a battle of the HBFs, and that the NBs through Weitering and Shaw had hurt them more than they were hurting us. They were also talking about their tackling intensity being down relative to the NBs. Some of them thought their ball use was bad which let our HBFs read the play too easily, others thought their ball use was OK but that our ball use and decision making coming off the HBF was so much better, at a much higher level. To me it looked 50/50 cause and effect, they appeared to have a tactic to use a medium/small to try and leverage a speed and agility difference and it didn't work because Weitering rarely dropped a mark when he was in the vicinity. Weitering and JGM were both quite good at corralling the Frankston small forwards to hold them up.

Thanks for the vote of confidence BP but I get plenty wrong too , easier from the armchair and if you fire 100 bullets you have to hit something.. Wink

The MC has been selecting teams and games have been played, imo, based on player and game plan development as the highest priorities. That's why we've seen some strange events that we may truly ponder about. We'll see more of it this year no doubt. However, THIS WEEK please I would urge you, focus on getting us a win, and solely focus on that! It would be great to break the duck with the Bummers.......

Yep ..A win does a lot for development too, no Daniher, Bombers playing poorly, timing is right for us to win this game unless we muck up at selection or suffer some catastrophic injuries.
A belting from the hated enemy is going to have ramifications off the field and this is a very important game for Bolton IMO....

Dont think Bolton will lose his job this season but there might be a review of sorts done on his support staff, goal setting etc, media will ramp up the pressure and the usual agitators like Mathieson will question where we are heading. Boltons knows he needs a win as last weeks presser showed, he has played down getting results and being all about development but the cracks are appearing IMO and he needs a win to get some breathing space..
