2018 Rd 1: In game Angst: Carlton vs Richmond
Byrne, Lamb, Silvagni not up to it tonight

Weitering, Casboult, SPS not enough

Nince tiges mark, obvious shepard by Lippy Riewoldt, gees they get  a better run with the maggots than essenscum, and that's saying something

Graham and Byrne would be the contest. Bit of a scrap from a rundown tackle on Byrne. Didn't see anything too bad from it, but i dont think the camera caught the whole stoush.
Credible performance against superior opposition, well drill team. But great to see a strong team effort new boys will be better for the run
We look better than last year but there's still some ordinary players in our side.
After quarter time we were only hanging in, if not for Cripps and a few others we would have been well beaten.
The only thing in this world worth more than a hill of beans is the Carlton Football Club.
We were dead exhausted that last qtr but we did keep hanging in. Bigger, stronger bodies ran then game out alot better.

Weitering will never play a game that bad again............ever! SOJ struggled big time, Levi couldn't get near it in the first half but waaay better in the 2nd half when he was rucking and away from Rance
Having Matty Wright on our list is like finding a mint copy of the original release of The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan (the one with 4 tracks that were subsequently deleted) in the dollar bargain bin.
Come on mods. Let's lock this up.

Great effort by the boys, but still plenty of work to do.
I hate to say it because it sounds like a pet hate type situation but.......... Marc Muphy.

Jeeeeez.

He's a follower not a leader. He's the guy that gets on the end of others good work and when the whips are cracking he disappears from games to an extent where you could be forgiven for thinking he'd actually left the state.

I hate that he's our captain. He's just not a leader.

We would be a 4 goal better team by making Cripps captain.
We hung in for a long time against a much stronger team that put us under a lot of pressre. Imo a respectable result and I think we 'll definitely gobetter than last year.
Reality always wins in the end.
Cripps is already half the team as it is. No need to burden him the captaincy, not for a while anyway.
