2018 Jim Park Voting: Rd 3: Carlton vs Collingwood - madbluboy - 04-06-2018 F 7 Casboult 5 Murphy 3 Charlie Curnow Re: 2018 Jim Park Voting: Rd 3: Carlton vs Collingwood - crashlander - 04-07-2018 Team: D- The first half was as bad as it could be, barely an F. After half time there was more system, more effort and better results (even with our crappy disposal). Votes: [3] Marc Murphy [2] Matthew Kreuzer [1.5] Patrick Cripps [1.5] Charlie Curnow [1.5] Levi Casboult [1.5] Kade Simpson [1] Ed Curnow [1] Dale Thomas [1] David Cuningham [0.5] Liam Jones [0.5] Zac Fisher Explanations: [3] Marc Murphy: 29 possessions, 9 marks, 8 tackles and not a lot of mistakes. Murphy showed a lot last night. [2] Matthew Kreuzer: Had a great battle with Grundy, with both men being fantastic players for their teams. Kreuzer had marks, goals, tackles, kicks and clearances. [1.5] Patrick Cripps: Not his best game, but he did well anyway. [1.5] Charlie Curnow: 20 odd possessions from a key forward is impressive. [1.5] Levi Casboult: Terrible early, Levi really lifted his game and dominated in the 2nd half. [1.5] Kade Simpson: Some really good things from Simmo with excellent decision making and disposals. [1] Ed Curnow: Another solid effort from Ed. [1] Dale Thomas: A solid effort [1] David Cuningham: Perhaps his best game for us, he showed poise and pace in defence. [0.5] Liam Jones: Not as god as last year yet, but his efforts were excellent. [0.5] Zac Fisher: Ran out of gas a bit, but when he gets the ball something god happens for us. Honourable Mentions: Caleb Marchbank: Solid before being injured, but he isn’t holding his marks yet. Sam Petrevski-Seton: Some real magic, but not enough yet Jarrod Garlett: Ditto. Curnow 5 Casboult 5 E. Curnow Putrid display for a second week in a row. Murphy’s disposals were meaningless, there was very little effort shown as a collective. Haven’t been this dejected in a long time. |
