VFL Rd 11: Northern Blues vs Box Hill Hawks - crashlander - 06-29-2017
Already bad news: Phillips is out for the rest of the season.
That means the Little Blues will be a huge disadvantage in the ruck. Gorringe MAY be right, but he will probably miss another week, and he is not the ruckman Phillips is.If we start off with Korchek and Bolger again, we are going to find it very hard to defeat Box Hill, who have lost only once.
Hopefully there will be a few guys coming back, but with the seniors losing Ed Curnow and probably Lamb, there may not be much cavalry arriving.

A lot of guys need to really stand up after last week's debacle. Smedts is probably a little stiff to be dropped, even though he was not what we needed last week. Pickett needs work and Boekhorst just isn't up to senior standard, but they will hopefully make an impression. We need them to, which is why I don't think it will happen.
Tim Jones coming in is a real positive. Most of the others who are named on the bench have been delivering in the Development League.
