I'll be at this one and I've missed too many this year. But at least my votes will make sense, assuming they ever make sense.

OK, here we go. I am not going to enjoy this.
Team: F+
We were good in the 1st quarter and reasonable in the 2nd. After that it was pretty ugly.
Votes:
I had to be pretty generous to get 15 votes worth today, as we struggled in so many aspects of the game. But Docherty and the defenders really did well under tremendous pressure, while Armfield deserves a lot of kudos.

Explanations:
We had a lot of guys who really contributed very little today. Others were OK for a quarter or so, but most of the defence worked hard. I can’t say I liked the fact that they kicked the ball to Adelaide’s advantage as often as they did, but the mids were smashed and the forwards looked hopeless.
[4] Docherty: Worked really hard and deserves to stand out in front this week.
[3] Armfield: Why Dennis didn’t kick the goal in the 3rd quarter I will not understand, but up until then he was brilliant.
[2] Gibbs: Worked hard
[1.5] Tuohy: Tried very hard and gave his various opponents a bath.
[1.5] Rowe: Killed the Adelaide forwards in the air.
[1] Simpson: A bit down, but still did well.
[0.5] White: Had a hard job and did it pretty well.
[0.5] Plowman: Outgunned physically, he did a pretty good job on Jenkins.
[0.5] Cripps: Started the best he has been for weeks, but faded. Doesn’t look 100% fit, but still had more clearances than any 2 other Blues.
[0.5] Weitering: Did OK and did not allow his opponents anything in the air.
Honourable Mentions:
Silvagni: Not a lot of ball, but he always looked dangerous.
Curnow: Ran hard
Wright: Not a great game, but his effort to goal deserves a mention.
