Correct.
BB said through the week that he won't be played until they reckon he's ready.

Obviously got a bit to go yet.

More than happy with that. No gifts, earn it.

Yep, makes perfect sense.

It's great to see Casey back, I hope this week is one of 200 games he plays for the Mighty Blues.
I hope Sheehan gets a game as well, although I think Byrne is the better of the two I think both of the Irish lads are serious talents.
I'm surprised to see Buckley named in the squad after watching the VFL last week, and just as surprised to see Smedts overlooked, Armfield could have got a look in as well on form.
Cloke isn't playing so Footscray lack some fire power with him, Boyd and Crameri missing, but they are manic around the ball and we'll miss Cripps and Ed Curnow.
It will be a tall order but it gives the kids a great opportunity against the reigning premiers.

If it's not form why would they name Buckley as emergency now ?  They did it with Mckay last week and I can't see the point of doing it with Buckley... just play him..  give him two weeks to save his career or so long thanks for trying for 5 years and all the best for the future..

MacReadie is stiff..didnt think he did much wrong...
Last chance for Boekhorst and Buckley....the former needs to attack the footy better and no handbrake finishes....
Buckley needs to show he can make a tackle stick at senior level and not butcher the ball...
Good luck to Byrne who might allow Docherty some time on the ball..
Need to man up better and make it a tight contest.....dont want the likes of Hunter and MacRae racking up 30 easy possies each because our lazy mids wont
pick them up...
Presume Bontempelli will get someone like Kerridge for company, dont have much else to run with him...that could get ugly for us...the .Bont is due for a big game..

I thought Boeky's last chance was the last game he played in the 1's TBH. Said it before that he appears to be one of those "too good for VFL not good enough for AFL" type players.
