It was our best pre-season in four or five years, wasn't it? :o Re: Round 4 Carlton v St Kilda- In game thread - PassIt2Carrots - 04-25-2015 LOL at Malthouse screaming and yelling at the players in the changerooms. Hey Mick, guess what? That stops working after a while you absolute overpaid douche. The way the AFLPA is going, we may want to keep him but he won't want to stay! ![]() That comment from Mick about a two tiered system is the only accurate thing MM has said all season! Re: Round 4 Carlton v St Kilda- In game thread - PassIt2Carrots - 04-25-2015 Saw Murph lay a crunching tackle and jumped out my seat screaming 'that's it Murph' then realised it was Cripps. Re: Round 4 Carlton v St Kilda- In game thread - ItsOurTime - 04-25-2015 Just looked at that Saints list and that would have to be the most ordinary group of players ever to take an AFL field. Even with our injuries, I don't know how we are behind but surely that won't last. Broky has shown us why they picked him. Hendo has been great. But Jones is a hack and Rowe is possibly the worst footballer currently in the league. But they keep playing him. Jones hasn't been given much chop from the umps. Despite that, if he had've kicked straight from 20m out, he'd have 3 goals by now. Yes, he has made the easy look impossible, but its nothing we cannot fix. Rowe just looks completely out of sorts. Maybe he doesn't have a decent matchup? He was great last year, but average this year. Some don't. Re: Round 4 Carlton v St Kilda- In game thread - crashlander - 04-25-2015 Half time: Carlton 6 - 4 - 40 St. Kilda 8 - 6 - 54 We have dominated the stats sheet. 192 disposals to 152 Clearances 25 to 19, with 9 centre clearances to 4. 14 free kicks to 6. 29 inside 50's to 25. 83 contested possessions to 68 30 hit outs to 24. And yet we cannot kick a goal. What does this say about our skills? Do we have any? What does this say about our playing list? Granted that we are missing [1] Menzel [2] Judd [3] Kreuzer [4] Warnock [5] Yarran [6] Thomas [7] White [8] Byrne [9] Sheehan and had Tutt pull out on the morning of the game. It is a not a positive position to be in. Re: Round 4 Carlton v St Kilda- In game thread - LordLucifer - 04-25-2015 (04-25-2015, 02:21 AM)Mondy link Wrote:Rowe has murdered us. Rowe is playing like he normally would, he had one breakout season (ie. purple patch) at CHB and people are now expecting him to play at that level all the time but he is not capable of reproducing it. First time in a decade ) That's a bit scary actually, no doubt the umpires will get it in their head that they need to even that out in the second half
