We sit 2nd spending much of the season playing with so many missing. Fair call. I should qualify that comment. Depth is relative to the available players on the list. Year on year we have a long injury list. We also have a core of highly talented ($) injury prone players. Not sure about Matthew Kennedy: he was surprisingly ineffective yesterday. Round continues to show ... something. Enough? I'm yet to be convinced. He isn't a body player and we really need him to be one. Dom Akuei: not the conditions for him to show his best, but we really want more than what he's delivering. Ashton Moir: maybe he's heading in the right direction, as his output has improved about 40%, but he really isn't a threat yet. Motlop: also not the conditions for him to shine, but I like the tackles numbers. |
