If Weitering isn't a better player than O'Shea I'll eat my boots. Re: 2018 Rd 9: In Game Attention: Carlton vs Melbourne - shawny - 05-20-2018 Is garlett related to bolts? How does he continue to hold his spot. Lazy footballer. Surely has to be dropped next week. No danger of you eating your boots..lol. Re: 2018 Rd 9: In Game Attention: Carlton vs Melbourne - laj - 05-20-2018 Only thing I've got out of this game is McKay and Kerr as a future forward combination. Our hack, no look kicks go to their players also, again pure luck. They are however pressuring us to kick/handball quickly and capitalising on our errors. They are also getting into space far too easily. Our mids need to get down and dirty more. As I said though, the game is done and dusted. It would take a herculean effort for this group to come back front here. Re: 2018 Rd 9: In Game Attention: Carlton vs Melbourne - LoveNavy - 05-20-2018 The tall forward kids are holding their own. If they can sustain their efforts, it's a small step forward. LOB and Dow holding their own too. Good to see Samo going in hard. A couple of his handballs have been sublime. Garlett - watch and follow Samo's lead! Plowman looks more effective this week and Simmo playing with his usual perennial persistence. Fisher and Crippa responded well after their respective errors. It's a huge challenge in the second half, particularly given our outs. Let's see who can step up. The same one that managed Kruez groin and Kennedy's ankle ??? Re: 2018 Rd 9: In Game Attention: Carlton vs Melbourne - chalkybill - 05-20-2018 IS THERE A LIVE FEED THAT I CAN GET FROM VEGAS? Re: 2018 Rd 9: In Game Attention: Carlton vs Melbourne - LP - 05-20-2018 The problem is the turnovers create space because we've run forward too hard and left our defence outnumbered, we see this pattern week after week. Those hack kicks are kicks to position, positions that the forwards are supposed to keep open and work into. Our two biggest sins are kicking to the oppositions advantage, and kicking it on the head of our forwards. I feel some moron at Carlton drills our players to kick directly to the target instead of kicking to the advantaged space.
