Pittonet was unbelievable, would have been very satisfying  considering Stanley smashed Ceglar last week.

Great effort indeed.
Pittonet was very good. ( thanks SOS ). And Eddy is still Eddy.

Generally a good all round effort. If we play like that against Cheats FC we'll romp on.

There was a racehorse in the late 80s/ early 90s that got to 10-15 lengths in front and hung on often enough to be a good horse.  Before that was Kiwi who came from last in the Melbourne Cup.  I think after last night,  I prefer the first - much more enjoyable to watch.  Great effort,  Blues.

As a side note,  Betts and Danger had a bit of a chat after the game - I presume about events earlier in the week.  Maybe a plus for Danger?

Just a note on Geelong... really missing Tim Kelly and he has been sub par for West Coast. Kelly missing has really exposed the Cats older mids and Steven is no replacement.

Whilst I’m not a fan of his staging and overreactions on the field, I don’t share the hate some people seem to have of him. Sometimes I think his biggest sin is that he has a personality.

Geelong - 000:00
Carlton - 101:52

Wasn't about luck, those numbers just prove it....

A massive win by our Club.

Apart from his commentary on the Curnow incidents in 2018, I agree.

Depends on far back you look. We were dudded big time in the Hawks and Suns games last year. Nice to see the gods of time helping us on this occasion.

Indeed. There were some pretty soft frees yesterday, of which we might have had 1 on every 4. In that last quarter the number of throws that were missed begged the imagination. Not to mention push in the backs.

Indeed. Marc may not have the leap, but he uses his body well and he doesn't spend his time looking at his opponent. I have been pleased and surprised by him so far.
I admit, his weaknesses are still apparent, but I liked the way he had the rucks playing on his terms instead of the other way around.
We also need another ruck option, as taking Levi out of the forward line was an issue yesterday.
