In addition to the 2 backup rucks plus Harry and Cas?
Not for me.
At least he would've got his name on a locker :o

And that’s the only sound argument for keeping him on.

For the record, Rowe was recruited to play as a key forward.  He wasn’t up to it and was re-invented as an adequate key defender.  He did fill in as a ruckman but not with any success.  Levi is a more accomplished ruckman and that says more about Rowe’s limitations than Levi’s prowess.

My preference would be to play Kreuzer with De Koning as second ruck but I think we’ll have to wait to see how things play out on the two rucks front.

Ready & waiting. It looks good so far and it looks like they have sorted the audio sync issue on Telstra TV.

Stocker is looking good in his first game for the NB's. We lead Port 47-31 with the first goal by Casboult after half time. His 2nd goal

We look pretty thin down back if they load up with Daniher, McKernan, Brown and then Stringer.

But IMHO I'm not that fussed about the result here. I want to see Walsh and McGovern and also Gibbons and also rapt that Setterfield is playing. I think when we traded him in, the feeling was that he wasn't going to be ready for Round 1 anyway, but he's out there and fit.

Respectable start with some good signs.
Defence still looks troubled by quick ball movement by the opposition.
Young mids look very good. Walsh especially.
Gibbons has Polson covered.

We're on target to score 136!

Loving the decision to keep pick 1 and snare Walsh. The kid looks like an absolute jet and plays like he's got 50 games under his belt already. SPS showing great speed. Only a JLT game that means nothing but already looks better than anything we produced last year. Not sure Gibbons could've had a better start...and don't get me started on Polson!!!
