Re: 2018 Rd 3: In Game Attitude: Carlton vs Collingwood - Vivian - 04-06-2018 Our midfield is full of children that are brushed aside. Few can tackle and the skills are lacking. Is the depth so lacking that we play Dow who is not at all ready? The Jones experiment is likely at the end game. He is exposed, but is being too easily exploited. Grundy is dominating kreuzer. All a bit grim. Very disappointing. 16 years, bar a patch between 2008-11 and other odd flashes, we have been so uncommitted to the task with a poor, on-field culture. Poorly coached, soft and when you see how many players are unmanned you know the players are not committed and there is zero leadership..... Our chances of getting any established stars would be about zero now - who would want to come to us - more importantly, who would want to stay?? Re: 2018 Rd 3: In Game Attitude: Carlton vs Collingwood - JonDorotich - 04-06-2018 Hard to watch and basically not acceptable. Polsen, Lamb ain’t up to it. Weitering and Jones putrid. We’re carrying so many tonight - SPS, Dow, Garlett, Fisher, Murphy (MIA) the list goes on. Horrible Re: 2018 Rd 3: In Game Attitude: Carlton vs Collingwood - shawny - 04-06-2018 Our mid field has not one player that can sprint hard from a contest. Murphy can’t do it anymore and there is no one behind him capable. Dow as an early pick just adds to this problem - he also only has one gear. Getting smashed on the outside by an average team with a heap of injuries. We can't keep possession of the ball, so getting smashed. Thats 1 part, midfielders fault 1 part lack of forward setup 1 part inexperience Re: 2018 Rd 3: In Game Attitude: Carlton vs Collingwood - cookie2 - 04-06-2018 This is a coaching issue I'm afraid. How many more promising guys do we we have to burn up? |
