Come on CFC, we've improved in so many areas then let ourselves down badly with poor or no NBs coverage. Fancy being shown up by Rottingwood :-[ :-[ So easy to create a leading edge coverage of the NBs games. Well said, Snowy Leopard. I'm not certain who he'll replace but if Jones doesn't get a senior game soon we aren't fair dinkum. I've never been a fan of his but fair's fair and it's not as if we're kicking big scores in the ones. Somewhat agree, the spot has to be open. I thought he'd come in for sos this week. Possibly if weiters needs a rest Re: VFL 2017 Rd 4: Carlton vs. Collingwood - blue4life - 05-08-2017 (05-08-2017, 12:53 AM)Jeffy38 link Wrote:Somewhat agree, the spot has to be open. Smedts needs a run in the VFL to build some confidence but he looks like he can play a bit so I wouldn't write him off, Kerridge is only average. Daicos was on the ABC loudly spruiking Victoria Park as having a great surface. Granted the weather was less than ideal, but it does suggest a very defensive mindset rather than poor conditions. That our defence kept them to 3 goals for 3 quarters is a result worth being happy with. Re: VFL 2017 Rd 4: Carlton vs. Collingwood - crashlander - 05-08-2017 ![]() I always like this. Re: VFL 2017 Rd 4: Carlton vs. Collingwood - LP - 05-08-2017 Interesting to see Jones getting a tick again this week, but in playing a different role as a KPD. Very good signs indeed! Re: VFL 2017 Rd 4: Carlton vs. Collingwood - pinot - 05-08-2017 McKay, Polson and Kerr up and down alot....hope they find consistency at this level soon. Cunners needs a game at top level his explosiveness will come in handy Re: VFL 2017 Rd 4: Carlton vs. Collingwood - Baggers - 05-09-2017 (05-08-2017, 12:53 AM)Jeffy38 link Wrote:Somewhat agree, the spot has to be open. Weits is struggling this year, so maybe a rest or even a run in the twos to get some confidence/touch back. Re: VFL 2017 Rd 4: Carlton vs. Collingwood - jeza - 05-09-2017 Kerridge and Graham don't play VFL and Cunningham is more involved. Are we depriving him of on-ball time in favour of other older and more limited players? This is where the line between winning a meaningless VFL game and player development can be tricky to manage. |
