Re: VFL Rd 4: Northern Blues vs Collingwood - DJC - 05-03-2016 Josh Fraser's player appraisal: Quote:26. Matthew Dick If the coach knows his business, Jamison (subject to concussion), Everitt and Viojo-Rainbow would be most likely to get a call up. Unless it's just the coach pumping tyres up (and I doubt that it is), it's good to see improvement in the performances of new blokes and players who didn't seem tp make progress last season. Very encouraging. Re: VFL Rd 4: Northern Blues vs Collingwood - cimm1979 - 05-03-2016 Few blokes treading water in the magoos. Better to fully evaluate them there rather than sticking them in the seniors before they're ready I guess? Sometimes we may have no choice due to injuries but best avoided. Some will improve and those that don't will go no doubt - all part of list building. I've tweeted Northern Blues and CFC a couple of times but get no reply. Been wondering this too. He's not listed on our injury list either. Is he playing VFL reserves or does he just not exist. :o Re: VFL Rd 4: Northern Blues vs Collingwood - jeza - 05-03-2016 (05-03-2016, 05:36 AM)cimm1979 link Wrote:Few blokes treading water in the magoos. I was looking at it the other way - DVR really improving this year. Foster played his first half decent game. Dick showing very strong form. Jaksch kicking goals. Seem to be a few guys finally coming good. Re: VFL Rd 4: Northern Blues vs Collingwood - Baggers - 05-03-2016 (05-03-2016, 06:35 AM)Mick link Wrote:Been wondering this too. It might be a bit frustrating that for some the improvement is slow, but better that than backwards! I really thought that for the first time I saw signs that Foster is improving on Saturday... it was really encouraging to see, especially his disposal - good stuff. Dick has probably been the most consistent of our boys playing for the NBs. Jaksch is still a little inconsistent for mine but good to see him at least working on second efforts. What's encouraging is that you can really see the boys are all on the same page and when they're not lapsing, they actually put together some good footy. Hopefully the first qtr from Saturday is something they'll never repeat. Re: VFL Rd 4: Northern Blues vs Collingwood - cimm1979 - 05-03-2016 (05-03-2016, 07:01 AM)Baggers link Wrote:Agree JEZA. That's a bit more encouraging I guess . Some of the reports on the guys read a bit similar every week from Fraser.
