Old timers squabbling about whatever?
Maybe the forum should take the Soylent Green approach, when the old timers get to 65 plus we just obliterate their accounts and turn them into biscuits....

I can drive a manual OK, but I'm not comfortable with the new automatics, which basically drive themselves...and don't get me started on those electric models. :

Reckon Lods would be a very safe Chariot driver, think he has a Corolla from memory??.

The way I used the phrase "old timers" was to denote people who have been on these forums forever, i.e "an experienced or long serving person." This is a perfectly legit definition of the phrase. It can also be used to indicate an old person. At any rate, I apologise if you found this to be insulting or derogatory, although I would prefer it if you approached me directly rather than engaging in back door, indirect, inflammatory jibes.
The facts don't lie. The majority of regulars on here are :
a. over 50, and the rest are over 40
b. white.
c. male
d. Victorian
e. Carlton supporters
This forum was set up for Carlton fans, so I have no issue with point e. It is perfectly reasonable and to be expected. Some people may have no issue with points a to d, but I do. I think the site experience would be better with greater diversity.

My indirect jibes were more in jest than inflammatory but I seem to have the perception you think us old Victorian Whities are holding back progression on this forum and our old timer chat is putting off new younger members?
