Re: Rd 14: In Game Invective: Carlton vs Richmond - mateinone - 06-25-2017 They score from their defensive 50 again (a point). 33-16 forward 50s and they have score 4 of their goals from our forward 50 entries. 70% of the time was in Richmonds forward half that quarter. They lead by 14. Now the only positive is that Richmond are running hard and they have been running out of legs. We need to hope they tire, because they are comfortably the better team so far. Re: Rd 14: In Game Invective: Carlton vs Richmond - maxm68 - 06-25-2017 33 inside 50s to 16... lucky not to be 6 goals down. 26pts in a half... don't care how good our defense is we need to score... Re: Rd 14: In Game Invective: Carlton vs Richmond - mateinone - 06-25-2017 Very true EB Jones was irrelevant that quarter. Rance is dominating. Our forwards haven't had a chance to be honest, I can't remember them really dropping marks they should be taking. Charlie Curnow easily the best of our kids today, the rest are absent. Yes, a comparison between the ball movement of the two teams is illustrative. We have one speed, and one plan. Tigers seem to have flexibility in how they go about it. If we can't turn it into an arm wrestle, we don't seem to have much else. Tigers should be in front by another couple of goals. It's not showing up on the TV, but there doesn't appear to be any targeting of players ala Ablett ? Can anyone confirm ? Re: Rd 14: In Game Invective: Carlton vs Richmond - northernblue - 06-25-2017 Maybe throw weitering forward to try make Rance more accountable ? Also seem to be missing a bit of pressure up forward, Lamb... Re: Rd 14: In Game Invective: Carlton vs Richmond - ElwoodBlues1 - 06-25-2017 Boekhorst, Smedts and Pickett are passengers.....Graham isnt anything great either.....losing the three good kids has cost us. Jones is playing well but the Castagna move is also working..... Houli should get three weeks but wont because he is being downplayed as a nice guy and the commentators are too scared to criticise him... Re: Rd 14: In Game Invective: Carlton vs Richmond - JonHenry - 06-25-2017 Our tackling has been pathetic Re: Rd 14: In Game Invective: Carlton vs Richmond - LoveNavy - 06-25-2017 Sounds like we set the tone q1. Lost our way in q2. Hopefully we can regroup and get it back on our terms in q3. If not, the figures suggest it could get ugly. Fortunate for us, they haven't capitalised on their opportunities. ![]() Go Blues. Bring on the G & D we've seen in other rounds. Re: Rd 14: In Game Invective: Carlton vs Richmond - Meddy43 - 06-25-2017 How did Daisy not get a free kick for being block on that last kick out of defence? Or is blocking only paid inside F50!? |
