I doubt it's staged, but I'm not at all surprised it's happened, you could feel it building because Trump's vitriol is a threat to democracy and the American way, not just his political opponents but everybody including many of his corporate bedfellows.
Like I said the other week, if Trump wins he best keep his head down because you know from history how the USA resolves these sorts of issues. You can't light fires for your own benefit and not risk being burned. People will assume it is political opponents, but the actors in this event could well be coming from his own side of politics, he brings attention to the wrong people and the wrong places, and many do not want the focus.
When you see politicians like Lydia Thorpe parroting extremism for their own purpose, it comes at a risk, not everybody on the planet responds with words or lawyers. When we fail to call out the vitriol and hyperbole, we do everyone a disservice.

Funny isn't it... we're so used to Trump lying his @rse off that many folks, including this little black duck, automatically assumed the assassination attempted was an elaborate Hollywood style orchestration... just more bullsh*t.

To be fair..when it initially seemed that Trump had suffered a superficial wound to his ear and no-one else had been injured in a crowd behind him despite multiple shots...the same thought crossed my mind...briefly.
How could so many shots into a crowd that size possibly miss collateral damage.
Sadly..they didn't.
I tend to agree with Kruddler. A bloodied Trump rises defiant after being shot.

We might not even know if Trump had a close call, as any war veteran might tell you about the horror of war, in an event like that the blood you find and the scar you wear might not be from a projectile.
