Seems we have found a good 'un with Carroll

As I said pre game I just wanted an easy win.

Right now I would take a one point win.

Well done Plowman.

Under the pump there, saved our bacon.

Not our best quarter, but we go into half time with the lead, which is better than not leading.

Thankfully TDK looks ok, which means we should be ok from here.

We've got half our 1sts backline out at the minute (Omac, Gov, Williams) so for that to fall on him was surprising.
Weiters often gives his opponent way too much space.

Well hopefully that was indeed our crap quarter.

If we continue to learn how to win ugly, its only a matter of time until winning easy occurs.

Keep bringing in the 4 points each week and that will do me.
We are ahead of where most of us thought we would be, so as long as we keep moving upwards, it'll do.

I don't know about 'too much' space, he give plenty, sure, but he usually give him the perfect amount so that he can get there in time and spoil, or gives him enough time to zone off and help a teammate.
He stuffed that one up for sure.

Not sure what it is about Larkey, and North, but they are our bogie side.

The bottom teams no matter our form in previous rounds just don’t respect us and play with real belief they can beat us and the longer the game goes on with then in this it goes from what should be a percentage boosting win to a slog.

We just don’t know how to make an easy kill.

Unfortunately we tend to play to the level of the opposition no matter who it is. Same as the last couple of decades, the want and hunger isn't there consistently. Doesn't matter what you change, without that you often fall short of the end goal.
