Nice goal Buckley, certainly some fight out there, but lacking skills

Well played again Rowe

Why did they wind the clock down then - why not try and attack in the last 10 seconds? Not like we're defending a lead!

Because we would probably turn it over and hand them a goal in junk time.

Nothing to get excited about but  we're hanging in there at least.
Sumner and Lamb almost invisible and Jaksch a non event so it's hard to see us kicking a winning score.
Simpson in career best form.

Sumner, Cripps and Weitering seem to be playing injured and Curnow is just too underdone.

Our defence is really looking cohesive given the quality they're up against. We really need to have a crack taking the game on second half. Missing the young Irishman in that sense. Hope someone else can bring that.. Not sure who.
KJ needs to make the most of his opportunities.

Go Blues

Playing with the extra man in defence is, obviously, helping us out down there, but it is certainly hindering us when we are trying to come out of it. We have nobody to kick to.

Many people are talking about player x is invisible out there. Unfortunately 'player x' could be about 12 names!

To this point in time it is very similar to last week. Crows dominated us from here last week, lets see what we've learned to stop it from happening again.

Isn't the key forwards fault there it's the way the ball moves into the 50. No blame there at all. Like I've always said, we were a way better side when we had two of them in the team. Opened up the 50 so much more and kicked way higher scores. More players could kick goals and even the ruckmen found room to take a mark and snag a goal. Since we've gone back to the structure of the first 4 rounds we back to not being able to kick a goal. One structure gave us 6 from 7, the other zero from 9. Right now we re on target for a grand total of 6 goals. One day we will learn.
