Re: Jim Park Voting 2023 AFL Rd 9 Carlton vs Western BUlldogs - crashlander - 05-20-2023 AFL Rd 9: Carlton vs Western Bulldogs Almost, but not quite. Rating: C We might have started poorly, but we were much better after half time. In front 5 minutes from home. Votes: [3] Marc Pittonet [2] Sam Walsh [2] Matthew Kennedy [2] Nic Newman [1.5] Matthew Cottrell [1.5] Adam Saad [1] Matthew Owies [0.5] Jack Silvagni [0.5] Sam Docherty [0.5] Harry McKay Explanations: [3] Marc Pittonet: Gave English a lesson in ruckwork. [2] Sam Walsh: An excellent game. [2] Matthew Kennedy: Much improved on his performances before he was dropped. [2] Nic Newman: Really dominated his opponents. [1.5] Matthew Cottrell: Ra out of gas a bit, but did very well. [1.5] Adam Saad: A soid performance. [1] Matthew Owies: Our most effective forward. [0.5] Jack Silvagni: Not bad in the ruck, but his work afterwards was good. [0.5] Sam Docherty: A solid game, but not his best. [0.5] Harry McKay: H played pretty well, but his kicking for goal … Honestly, H took enough marks to make Sticks Kernahan proud. Honourable Mentions: Charlie Curnow: Vert dangerous when we got the ball near him, but 2 goals 3 was disappointing. Patrick Cripps: Not a big game. But he worked damned hard in the middle and got his share of the ball. Adam Cerra: Worked hard, but was not as effective as he has been. |
