If the new EU Laws make it to Oz it will greatly change the onus of websites to filter uploaded content before it is made public.

Some of the Tech sites I am participating on have already partially implemented this, they do so by requiring all posts to be moderated before they become generally visible to ensure copyright is not violated.

I think it's a nightmare for free speech everywhere, moderators basically become editors.

It’s interesting to read as many posts as I can rather than just those topics that suit my tastes.  I’m learning stuff ????

Apart from some poor thread discipline, everyone seems to be on their best behaviour.  The best part has been deleting bot posts - my pet hate ????
