Re: Round 10 Green Shoot of the Week - Baggers - 05-28-2017 Charlie Curnow by a country mile. When hardness and intensity were required it was Charlie (along with Gibbs and Kreuz who led the way (supported by strong efforts from defense)). Re: Round 10 Green Shoot of the Week - LoveNavy - 05-28-2017 SOJ having the strength, confidence, and arrogance to fight off a Zeibell tackle (near the boundary, can't recall which q). Onya Jack. That's the spirit son ;D Re: Round 10 Green Shoot of the Week - Micky0 - 05-28-2017 I liked Cunningham, loved that he backed himself and went for it Re: Round 10 Green Shoot of the Week - LoveNavy - 05-28-2017 95 tackles Won the clearances, and hard ball gets. Gutsy. Re: Round 10 Green Shoot of the Week - Gointocarlton - 05-28-2017 Didnt realise how much zip DC has, played well today. Was my green shoot, CC is a sapling already, he'll be an oak tree by this time next year if he keeps going like this. Re: Round 10 Green Shoot of the Week - Thryleon - 05-28-2017 That 3/4 and struggling to figure out who was our best. Re: Round 10 Green Shoot of the Week - cimm1979 - 05-28-2017 4/4 Curnow. In everything from deep FF to centre. This guy is going to redefine the role of KPF. Re: Round 10 Green Shoot of the Week - townsendcalling - 05-28-2017 Curnow by a short half head to Cunningham. Both influenced the game in different ways. When Charlie actually holds more than he drops, sit back and enjoy the ride!! Re: Round 10 Green Shoot of the Week - cookie2 - 05-28-2017 Loved what I saw from Charlie, a great competitor. Also encouraged by Cunningham's efforts. He needs more senior game time now imo. Re: Round 10 Green Shoot of the Week - blueday - 05-28-2017 From my wonderful seats on top of ES it was interesting to note the entirely different forward structure that Bolton applied from the 2nd qtr. I left thinking that this radical change contributed heavily to the change in momentum. Pushing all but two forwards onto the wings and halfback, left North defenders looking at each other or guarding space. Clearly planned as our clearances, when possible were done on the 45 to one of the two forwards in place. Our structure was not working, he changed it and the team responded. This is a Green Shoot! |
