Fear not, your precious taxpayer dollars are safe. Just like they're safe from people faking their indigenous status to gain advantage, or faking disability to gain advantage. Funny how the only demographic which seems to escape your razor sharp intellectual and analytical prowess is the one to whom you belong : the True Blue, little Aussie battler, doing it tougher than everyone else, honest as the day is long, pure in heart and spirit, and of course, never guilty of anything.

So naturally, you have good evidence that rorting of the system is widespread, and thousands of people are trying it on, and bleeding taxpayers dry ? Bring the receipts.

How big of an expert panel, how many meetings, what number of bureaucrats, what was the lawyer head count, of those who were are involved in such a decision process, we pay for the lot?

If you are REALLY worried about tax payers $'s, then there are plenty of bigger fish to fry than going after a minority of a minority included here.
As ludicrous as it may be, its a drop in the ocean of where real $'s are being spent.
