Two weeks would have been reduced to one as per Jack Martin.
I reckon we should go back to the system where previous suspensions/reports contributed to the penalty. Second offence = double penalty.

Someone got in his face, can't remember who. He certainly should have been on the books for that. Just unnecessary stuff. It's okay to be intense and in your face in a big match. But it's not alright to endanger a player and especially their head through what's on the side of the boundary line.

Interesting that we finished with both Kemp and Gov at deep forward when Acres kicked the last. Another one of Voss's scenarios similar to Martin on the last line the week before.
Salem is another dog who" tested" Acres shoulder while he was lying on the ground in the first quarter.

They couldn't beat us up and stop us within the rules so they were getting frustrated and trying to beat us up outside of them.
Still couldn't rattle us.
Vossy have got the team humming along nicely. Not much could phase us at the moment.

They flirted the line and played semi dirty I'm all ok it was a final.
They were extremely unsociable and hard at it and unlucky not to win it in the end.
The character and confidence of our team is at stratospheric levels and Brisbane should know that playing unsociable football doesn't work with this group.

- Pitto played a ripper, shame he wasn't ready to be unopposed
- TDK did what he's almost done for several weeks
- our boys didn't complain despite getting scragged
- umpiring was good
- Fogarty has a couple of special moments (i.e. sidestep, kick i50)
- Kemp has had the steepest improvement
- our defence is synergistic
- we trust each other, we're tough
- Double dee-fence kept Charlie quiet (did he get a free?)
- Bluebaggers are the best
